Those lists are very far from comprehensive, for 3 reasons: only a minority of the relevant blogs use Sitemeter, some who do use it do not make the stats publicly available, and my list of Scottish Political blogs (see my sidebar) is highly unlikely to be exhaustive (but I do try my best).

My definition of Scottish Political Blog is: "a blog written by a Scot, or someone resident in Scotland, which contains a reasonable proportion of posts regarding politics." The politics covered need not be Scottish politics. What does "reasonable" mean in this context? Good question. It is just a judgement call - my judgement - you may have a different opinion.

There is another method of measuring the "Pops", and it may be more useful because it is 100% comprehensive. It is the "Most Linked To" method, using Technorati, as used by
Troubled Diva. Here is a version edited to only show the Scottish Political Blogs:

Contrary to what
Loïc le Meur may think, Troubled Diva actually uses an Excel spreadsheet for his chart. I did not. I hope that you appreciate my labours.
